What we collect when you contact us, why we hold it, and how to get it removed.
Who we are. Bison Outbound is a trading name of Bison Outbound Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17299052 and based in Leeds, UK. For any question about this policy, email phoenix@bisonoutbound.com.
If you fill in the contact form we collect your name, company, work email, the show you mentioned and anything you write in the message box. If you book a call we collect the details you give the booking tool. If you email or phone us we keep that correspondence.
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets no cookies, stores no identifier on your device, and does not follow you to other sites. It records the page, the referrer, and general details about your browser and country. None of that identifies you.
The booking calendar is a Calendly embed. It loads only when you press a book a call button, and Calendly sets its own cookies and asks for your choice about them once it does. If you never press one, nothing from Calendly loads.
You can change your mind whenever you like: the Cookies link at the bottom of any page brings the question back.
If you accept, we run a tracking script that collects your IP address, the pages you view, the site you arrived from and your approximate location. We pass that to our visitor-identification provider, GetLeads, which compares it against its own database of business contact records.
Where it finds a match we receive personal information about you that you did not give us directly: usually your name, work email address, employer, job title and professional profile links. We use it to contact you about our services, and we store it in our sales and marketing systems.
Under some privacy laws this counts as a “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, or as targeted advertising. You can stop it at any time by emailing phoenix@bisonoutbound.com with “Opt out” in the subject line, or by refusing cookies through the link at the bottom of any page.
To access, correct or delete what we hold about you, email phoenix@bisonoutbound.com.
To reply to you, to work out whether we are a fit for your show, and to keep a record of what was discussed if you become a client. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you started, and performance of a contract if we go on to work together. For visitor identification the basis is your consent, which is why we ask first and why you can withdraw it at any time.
Form submissions are processed by Netlify, which hosts this site, and reach us by email. Page visits are counted by Cloudflare. Calls are booked through Calendly. If you accept cookies, visitor identification is carried out by GetLeads. If you become a client, billing is handled by Stripe. Each of those companies processes the data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else.
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for 6 years after the last piece of work, which is the period UK tax rules require.
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Email phoenix@bisonoutbound.com and we will deal with it within 30 days, at no cost. If you are unhappy with how we handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date below.
